Update: 11/23/2016 4:20 pm

DEQ has just gave word that the City of Nowata will need to shut down its water plant as of 12:30 am, 11/24/2016. It will be down until further notice. We do have a water supply that will be still be supplying water to the community. We are asking that everyone conserve water at this time, because once our supply is gone we will be out of water until the plant is up and running again.

We have been in contact with State Emergency Management for further assistance. We will be posting any updates as we get them.
