The City of Nowata is revealing its new branding and messaging campaign through a multiple part reveal series. View Part 1 – The Story of Nowata.
On our journey to rebrand our community, we’ve crafted the story of the Nowata community and now it’s time to reveal the colors that represent our community. Each color selected was tied directly to our culture and the key parts of our community that define us.
Primary Colors:
Ironmen Pride #4B0A06 – It’s what unites us every Fall and Winter to come together as a community, amidst our differences, to uplift our youth with the undeniable power of Ironmen Pride.
Oklahoma Sky #A0C8E2 – There’s nothing like the raw beauty of an Oklahoma Sky and where we call home, we get to view it unpolluted by the lights of the big cities.
Oologah Lake Blue #192A35 – Unlike the tall tales of how we got our name, Nowata has direct access to the vast waters of Oologah Lake via Double Creek Cove.
Cherokee Roots #DA8E0B – We are a city proudly rooted in the Cherokee Nation Reservation with strong cultural and economic ties to the people and government of the Cherokee Nation. You can’t discuss the history or the future of Nowata without discussing the impact of our Cherokee Roots.
Secondary Colors:
Building Hope #F2F2F2 – Our historic downtown is covered in buildings that are different shades of white and represent the hope given to us from previous prosperous generations in Nowata. As we move forward, we seek to unite our citizens, business community, and government partners to build the next generation of hope for our community.
The Path Forward #B5B5B5 – We must be intentional and collaborative in our approach to pave The Path Forward for our community.
