In addition to the curbside pick-up and haul-off program offered by the City of Nowata, Nowata County is offering a free tree debris drop-off site for residents who sustained tree damage during the June 29th storm that impacted the community.

The county’s tree debris drop-off site is located at the Nowata County District 1 Barn, 1300 S. Maple St., Nowata, OK 74048. Residents must unload their own tree debris at the site. County officials will not use county equipment to assist in the unloading of tree debris at the site.

The drop-off site is open 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The site is planning on offering Friday availability for the next few weeks, please call to ensure Friday availability.

This program is strictly for tree limbs and vegetative materials only. Violators who dump trash and/or construction debris will be prosecuted.

For questions about the program, please contact the Nowata County District 1 Barn, 918-273-3881.
