Nowata Volunteer Fire Department's Chili Cook-Off
The Nowata Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Chili Cook-Off at the Nowata Fire Department (425 S. Cedar St.) on Saturday, January 17th from 12 pm - 3pm.
The entry fee for competitors seeking to enter their chili into the competition is $20. There are two categories for awards, (1) Public - with a 1st place trophy and (2) Inter Department - with a 1st place traveling trophy.
For those chili lovers who want to join us for taste testing the chilis, the fee is $8 for a Chili Bowl with fixings (Fritos, onions, and cheese), a drink, and a dessert.
All funds raised will go directly to support the Nowata Volunteer Fire Department.
Nowata Volunteer Fire Department's Big Raffle
The Nowata Volunteer Fire Department is hosting The Big Raffle. The drawing for the 3 prizes will take place on Saturday, January 17th.
Buy your tickets from any of the Nowata Firefighters. The price of the tickets are 1 ticket for $10.00 or 3 tickets for $20.00. The prizes are listed below.
- Grand Prize - $1,000 voucher to Guns & Gals
- 2nd Place - 2 Loads of Rock delivered within Nowata County ($500 Value)
- 3rd Place - One Year EMS & Fire Subscription ($270 Value)
All money raised benefits the Nowata Volunteer Fire Department.
