How to Calculate Your Water and Sewage Bill
Residential & Commercial Water
For up to the first 1,999 gallons used per month - Base Rate of $17.90
The next 2,000 gallons used per month - $5.50/thousand gallons
The next 1,000 gallons used per month - $6.05/thousand gallons
All water used over 4,999 gallons used per month - $6.65/thousand gallons
Residential & Commercial Sewer
For up to the first 1,999 gallons used per month - Base Rate of $18.65
All usage over 1,999 gallons used per month - $6.05/thousand gallons
Bill Example #1
Customer is connected to water and sewer and used 6,000 gallons of water for the month of June.
Water Portion of the Bill
First 1,999 gallons used would be $17.90 (Base Rate)
Next 2,000 gallons used would be (2*$5.50/1,000 gallons) = $11.00
Next 1,000 gallons used would (1*$6.05/1,000 gallons) = $6.05
Next 1,000 gallons used would (2*$6.65/1,000 gallons) = $13.30
Total water portion = $17.90 + $11.00 +$6.05 + $13.30 = $48.25
Sewer Portion of the Bill
First 1,999 gallons used would be $19.65 (Base Rate)
Next 4,000 gallons used would be (5*$6.05/1,000 gallons) = $24.20
Total water portion = $19.65+ $24.20 = $49.90
Trash, Ambulance, and Admin Fees Portion of the Bill
Trash Services through Waste Connections = $18.65 (Base Rate)
Ambulance = $10.00 (Base Rate)
