Deposits for new accounts are $50.00 for buyers or $100.00 for rental. Connection fee of $30. Information needed for new account is copy of rental agreement or property deed, copy of DL, and to fill out new account card, need to come into office for that.

Trash services are handled by the Waste Connections and are billed on the monthly water bill from the city. Issues and questions regarding trash services can be answered by Waste Connections by phone, 877-336-3161.

In-Person: Drop off in the "dropbox" at Nowata City Hall (Cash, check, or money order).
Buyer's deposit is $50.00.
Renter's deposit is $100.00.
To resume service your bill must be paid in full, plus $60.00 for disconnect/reconnect fees.
Cash, Credit Card, and/or Money Order are acceptable forms of payment for resuming of service. Checks are not accepted for resuming service.
It's mandated by law to report a quality test each year to all users.
